Storytelling sessions are my jam! I love them more than anything. To just let a family go about their business while I document those moments fills my heart with joy. When I hear back from a family that their 9 yr old talked about how fun their "photo session" was for days, I know my job was done right.
I met with this family on a Sunday afternoon with the goal to capture their life in this moment, both the little details and the big picture.
A dog's life. What dog doesn't love a home with a little girl to play with!
After some inside play, the kids dressed up in their finest and ran off to play outside!
A little team work to cast a spell.
This may seem like a just a reflection, but this little girl spends lots of her free time dancing in front of this glass staring at her reflection. This is a memory captured in a click.
After play time in the house we took off to the local field for some family portraits. We kept with the documentary feeling of capturing the family interactions. We let the kids be kids!
I loved every moment I spent with this family. I laughed so hard I cried and could really feel the love this family has for each other. I felt honored to freeze these moments in life for them to relive for future generations.
